Music is a key ingredient to the services at Willow Oak. We strive to lift up the name of Jesus through relevant praise and worship. At Willow Oak we sing a mix of new worship chorus's without neglecting the music of our past. On any given Sunday you could hear songs such as Here I Am to Worship, How Great is Our God, I Can Only Imagine, and Blessed Be Your Name. We do however, also mix in some of the old favorites such as I'll Fly Away, Blessed Assurance, and Power in the Blood.
Worship is led in an inspirational atmosphere by Pastor Brent Simpson. Pastor Brent has been leading worship for the last nine years. Three of those years He traveled as a Music Evangelist, playing his songs in churches around the south. He has recorded four full length CD's, as well as many single track CD's. His style has expressions of country, rock 'n roll and blues, but His foremost goal is to create an atmosphere compelling worship.
In January 2007, Willow Oak Assembly was proud to announce the finalization of its latest music project, Willow Oak Worship. It is a great mix of fast, slow, new and old songs as well as a few tracks of Pastor Scott preaching. Testimonies have been pouring in about how anointed the worship is and how much it is being enjoyed. The CD sells for a very affordable $5, so please contact the church office if you would like one.
